iNTUition v8.0 is one of the largest student-run hackathons in Southeast Asia - organised by IEEE NTU Student Branch - where participants get an opportunity to transform their ideas to code. iNTUition v8.0 will be conducted virtually this year, with a prize pool of above $8000, cool swag items, and fun-filled activities! It's happening on the 26th & 27th of February, virtually, and it's completely free to attend!

Requirements

Deliverables - 
  • Please add the GitHub (or any other public code repository) link to your project's repository in your submission and ensure that its visibility is set to 'public' so that the judges can access it.
  • Demonstration Video - Prepare a (maximum) 4 minutes demonstration video/pitch of your hack for the Judges to view. The video should be uploaded to YouTube (unlisted) and the link should be submitted on Devpost with the project as a deliverable.

Judging Criteria

  • Innovation
    Does the project establish a new product or service category? Does the project evolve beyond current/existing goods and services explicitly and constructively? Is the idea of the hack novel or unique?
  • Feasibility
    Is it feasible for such a product/solution to attain its objective in the real world? Does the project address a specific necessity, challenge, or opportunity, and is the solution adequately discussed?
  • Completeness in execution
    Did the team successfully execute their project concept? Did the team accomplish in their prototype what they had envisioned? Did they complete implementing the main features/functionality? Is it usable, well designed and provides a smooth experience?
  • Technical Competence
    Can the project be deemed innovative and competent from a technical design and/or implementation standpoint? Could the project have benefitted from using another platform or technology stack?
  • Impact
    Has the team recognized a specific challenge/problem/opportunity which their hack can solve? Does the solution effectively address their recognized problem and have potential to be impactful and useful in that area?
  • Future Prospects and Scalability
    Does the team have ideas for other useful features/functionality they wish to implement in the future? Has the project been designed with Scalability in mind?
  • General Impressiveness
    Flexible criteria for judges to express how impressed they were with a particular hack
  • Presentation
    Did the presentation cover the problem, solution idea, objective and main functionalities of the hack?
